WTCA General Assembly

The upcoming Assembly in Beijing is a marvelous opportunity to develop new friendships and business relationships in China, which is the number one destination for Louisiana exports ($5.4 billion in 2009). China continues to be the fastest growing economy in the world, and the WTCA and WTC Beijing are rolling out a magnificent red carpet for this year’s WTCA event.

The program of the General Assembly for delegates will feature international speakers on interesting WTC subjects such as regional economies, education, peace and stability, finance, tourism, cultural exchanges, trade fairs, and global public relations. Optional extra activities include a city tour around Beijing,  trips to the Great Wall, the historic city of Tianjin, and a 4-day post-conference trip to the Shanghai World Expo. As always, there will be a fantastic gala dinner on the final night.

The China World Hotel, which anchors the China World Trade Center, will provide superior accommodations featuring fitness facilities, five restaurants, two bars, and is convenient to Beijing’s many unique local markets and shops.  Beijing will not only provide a special atmosphere for this year’s General Assembly, but also an excellent opportunity for networking, meeting potential clients, and gaining knowledge on China’s culture and economy.

Advance registration is encouraged.  Nearly everything except airfare and hotel is included in the low registration fee of $600 for Delegates and accompanying guests if you register by August 26 ($800 after that).
